Sashtiapthapoorthi is the marriage ceremony performed for the couple where the husband has completed 60 years of age and the 61st year has just started. Generally, the couple’s children or in-laws, or relatives organize this 60th birthday pooja. This ceremony removes all kinds of sins or bad karmas of the couple so that the Lord blesses them with a long and happy life together. This pooja is the best pariharam (remedy) for any old age illness or weakness and blesses the couple with great strength physically and mentally. This pooja also blesses the Mistress with a great Mangalya bhakya and strengthening the Thaali’s Power.
